This woman is a genius with so much heart and humanity。 I wait with baited breath for her Bitch Sesh podcast every week。 High entertainment。 Her essays in here about the beloved housewives of Bravo and her eccentric parents gave me so much happiness。 This was good enough to warrant another listen in a few years。 I also might add that listening to this at the gym made my workouts far more tolerable。

I liked this because I love Casey Wilson。 Not a huge fan of the stream of consciousness， scattered writing style that tends to plague the modern memoir genre， but I liked all of her stories （particularly about her upbringing）。 Some topics are dealt with very seriously （motherhood， grief） while others are treated glibly （her marriage， professional failures）。 I would’ve loved more stories about her female friendships and getting started in comedy。

These comedian memoirs are really my niche lately。 Many many laugh out loud moments （including laughing so much I got kicked out of the room I was reading in 🤷♀️）。 Casey’s stories are hilarious， insightful， relatable yet self-aware and really touching。 I read the hardback book but I’m sure the audio version read by her would be even better。
